Working With Us

Retired or Close to It

We specialize in proactive tax and financial planning for people who are retired or close to it. This allows us to tailor our service and expertise to the unique needs of our clients.

Diligent Savers

While our clients would hardly consider themselves to be “rich”, they have accumulated a retirement nest egg for themselves thanks to a lifetime of hard work and diligent saving.

Looking for a Trusted Advisor

Our clients understand that the success of their retirement is too important to be doing it themselves, and they understand the value of having expert guidance.

What to Expect

A Process Proven by Years of Experience

Our no cost, no obligation evaluation process will show you exactly how we can help you before you pay us a single dollar in fees or trust us with a penny of your nest egg.

If this process makes sense to you, the next step is to schedule an initial phone call with us

1
Initial Conversation

This initial phone conversation will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our knowledge and experience.

If we aren’t the right specialist for your situation we will gladly introduce you to a firm who is better suited to your needs.

2
First Planning Meeting

The goal of this meeting is to get perfectly clear on your goals, concerns, and unique financial situation.

Your answers to our questions, along with the documents we request you bring, will guide our analysis which will result in plain-English answers to critical questions.

3
Our Analysis

We apply our experience, extensive research, thousands of hours of training, and our understanding of who you are to analyze your situation and answer the critical questions pertaining to your retirement.

4
Second Planning Meeting

During this meeting we will explain, in plain English, exactly what you need to do to achieve your financial goals. This is where you will see, in dollars and cents, how our firm could improve your finances.

At the end of this meeting we will ask if you would like to begin working with our firm or if you would like to sleep on it.

5
Your Evaluation

We are interested in forming long-term client relationships. It’s important to us that you take as much time as needed to make a decision. Prior to deciding whether we should work together, you'll want to consider the following questions:

  • Do I like/trust/respect the team at Janus Financial?

  • Will the benefits they provide exceed their cost?

  • Do their recommendations make sense to me?

6
Implementation

If we mutually decide to work together, we schedule this meeting to start the process to become a client.

While we would love to work with you, if you decide that it’s not a good fit we will wish you all the best and every success. In other words, there is never a hard-sell or pressure to say yes.
